A good day - fruit and yoghurt breakfast and a happy family supper

Breakfast today was greek yoghurt, clementines, crinkle-cut slices of pear and banana.  I was impressed by how well they coped with the clementines - thought they'd be too tricky, and just roll onto the floor. I gave the yoghurt on spoons.  Only Abigail got the hang of this; Jonathan just spread it around.

I didn't feed them lunch as we were out in a posh hotel lounge, and I chickened out of the mess and coping with them both.  Managed to persuade them both to nap in their buggy so I could eat in peace.

Supper was a sausage and lentil casserole.  They had about 5cm of cumberland sausage, some crinkle-cut fennel and carrot slices, and some lentilly, tomatoey sauce.  All very successful, very popular. For afters, there was a trifle Hungerpang had made last night.  We were amazed at how much better they can pick up tinned peach slices than they could at Christmas. And H and I managed to have proper conversations over our food, so it felt like a real family dinner.
